1. About these terms

Verenga Africa ("we", "us") provides a digital reading, learning and publishing platform for schools, students, teachers and authors. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep your password private. Accounts for learners under 18 are created and managed with the involvement of a school or a parent or guardian. School administrators are responsible for the people they add to their school and for keeping their school's join codes private.

3. School subscriptions

A school subscription gives the school's approved students and teachers access to subscription titles for the paid period only (for example one school term). Access switches off automatically when the period ends unless it is renewed. Seat limits depend on the plan purchased. Fees are due before access starts and are non-refundable once access has begun, except where required by law.

4. Purchases and content

Books bought individually are licensed to the buyer for personal reading and may not be copied, shared or resold. Authors keep ownership of their work and grant us a licence to host and distribute it on the platform; authors receive the agreed share of sales.

5. Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful, abusive or infringing material, attempt to access other people's accounts, or interfere with the service. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the platform.
